• One piece MEEHANITE bed casting with hardened and ground bed-ways to Rc55 Rockwell.
• Alloy steel headstock gears and spline shafts are hardened and precision ground.
• German FAG high precision taper and roller bearings are used on the spindle to assure a roundness accuracy of .0001″ over a length of 8 Inches.
• The universal INCH/METRIC feed box makes it possible to cut both types of threads without changing gears.
• A Class V3 spindle motor is used in order to maintain vibration at 3 Microns.
• The spindle taper and shoulder are hardened and ground.
• The headstock, feed box and the apron have their own oil baths and the cross slide screw is in an oil bath
